Head of Finance & Operations

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual to take on the role of Head of Finance & Operations. We are seeking someone with high levels of financial literacy, with the ability to be both detailed-orientated and take a strategic view when needed. As the HR lead within the organisation, the ideal candidate will have tact, discretion and empathy, with ideas on how best to support our small and hard-working team and the ability to have difficult conversations if required.

The Head of Finance & Operations is a member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organisation and finances, ensuring best practice, good governance and legal compliance across all aspects of Streetwise Opera’s work. They work closely with the Chief Executive on strategic planning and, along with the rest of the Senior Management Team, input into the direction of the organisation’s artistic activity.

Hours: 35 hours per week. Core hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm.
