You’ll be part of an ambitious company with a goal to become a top 20 UK practice through a strategy of organic growth, alongside targeted mergers and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Work with owner‑managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
- Accounts Preparation: Prepare accounts and financial statements for clients.
- Preparation of Personal tax returns.
- Record Processing: Process client records accurately and efficiently.
- Management Accounts: Prepare management accounts to meet client needs.
- VAT Returns: Complete and check VAT returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Supervision of more junior staff.
- Client Support: Address basic client queries and provide support as required.
- Administration: Carry out administrative and ad‑hoc tasks as needed.
Key Skills And Competencies
- Accounting Practice Experience background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of IRIS, Xero and Sage is preferred.
- AAT4 qualification or someone starting ACCA Studies.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service.
