Role Overview
As the leading figure in our Tax department in Northampton, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our tax strategy.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory services, managing client relationships, and leading a team of tax professionals.
This position requires a deep understanding of UK tax law, extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance, and the ability to deliver strategic tax solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and grow the tax advisory and compliance practice, providing strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services.
- Develop and implement innovative tax strategies and solutions to optimise tax positions for our clients.
- Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including tax planning, compliance, M&A, international tax, and transfer pricing.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for business development and growth.

- Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising clients on the implications.

Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax advisory roles, with a significant portion spent in a senior leadership capacity.
- Extensive experience working within a professional services firm or a large tax department.
- CTA or ACA CTA qualified. ADIT is desirable but not essential.
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation, with experience in advising on complex tax issues.
