We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer to become an integral part of our cross-functional team. This role goes beyond traditional design tasks; you will act as a strategic collaborator, identifying challenges and shaping the product vision rather than merely executing predefined briefs.

  • Compensation: £50,000 - £68,000

What you'll do

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to set project priorities and establish a clear product roadmap.
  • Conduct comprehensive user research, including on-site visits and phone interviews, to validate design concepts and identify user pain points.
  • Oversee the entire design process, from initial sketches to the development of high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Utilize an AI-driven, code-first workflow to enhance UI design directly within the browser, facilitating quicker feedback loops.
  • Establish success metrics prior to product launches and analyze performance data afterward to guide future design iterations.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into product features to enhance user experience and deliver real value.
  • Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Mentor junior designers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and ensure that design solutions meet both user needs and business objectives.
  • Document design processes and decisions to maintain a clear record of the design evolution for future reference.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product or UX Design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
  • Expertise in Figma and familiarity with contemporary design systems.
  • Proven ability to independently plan and conduct user research initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of commercial considerations, balancing user requirements with business objectives.
  • Experience in SaaS or complex product environments is highly desirable.
  • Must possess the legal right to live and work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, such as Claude Code.
  • Experience in conducting A/B testing and usability studies.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the property industry and understanding of its challenges and opportunities.

  • Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping.
  • Familiar with AI-assisted design tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Strong grasp of user research methodologies to gather actionable insights.
  • Capable of data analysis and performance tracking to inform design decisions.

  • The interview process consists of three stages: an initial introductory call, a technical interview that includes a design task, and a final meeting with the Head of Product.
