About the role We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our Cortex team and define the future of agentic AI within the property sector. You will operate at a strategic level to shape how our users interact with intelligent systems across our entire product suite. This role requires someone comfortable navigating ambiguity who can drive product direction alongside engineering and product management.

  • Compensation: £70K - £90K

What you'll do

  • Design the user experience for agentic AI across Street and Spectre to automate agent workflows.
  • Manage design strategy across the full product range, including valuation, prospecting, marketing, enquiry handling, sales progression, and property management.
  • Establish new design patterns for agentic UX where no existing playbook exists.
  • Produce high-quality design output that serves as the internal standard for the team.
  • Build, test, and ship prototypes rapidly based on direct feedback from estate agents.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building or shaping multi‑step, tool‑using agentic AI systems.
  • A strong, articulated perspective on designing for non‑deterministic systems, including trust, transparency, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
  • Ability to identify and advocate for high‑impact work without waiting for a formal brief.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on measuring design success against product performance.
  • Approximately 8+ years of experience in product or UX design at a senior individual contributor level.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Technical proficiency in prototyping with code.
  • Background in SaaS or complex product environments.

Practical notes

The interview process consists of three stages: an introductory call with the talent team, a technical interview including a design and AI task with the Head of UX, and a final interview with a co‑founder.
