Revenue Operations Manager

📍 Manchester, UK (Hybrid 2 days WFH) | 💰 Up to £70,000

Street Group is one of the fastest-growing PropTech companies in the UK. We want to be the leading creator of delightful experiences for everybody involved in buying, selling, renting and letting property, regardless of their involvement, to improve the industry for everyone by elevating UK estate agencies through world-class technology.

Your job is to own the numbers for the entire commercial engine. Not hit them, own them. You'll build the single version of the truth that runs our marketing, sales and customer success functions, and put a reliable set of numbers in front of our leadership team and board.

You will take accountability for the integrity of the full commercial funnel from top-of-funnel marketing through to churn and renewals. Right now, each function applies its own definitions and rules. You'll set one consistent set of rules and make them stick across the entire business. You'll also be responsible for forecasting, headcount planning and supporting the design of commission structures.

This is a hands-on, senior operator role. You'll own the tech stack (HubSpot sits at the centre), and you'll build the workflows, automations and permissions that keep data clean at source. You're not tidying records by hand; you're designing systems. You'll also be working with AI daily – it's not optional here. We use Claude, and you'll need to show evidence of AI already embedded in how you work.

There are no commissions or bonuses in this role and that is deliberate. The role has to stay objective about what the figures say. We've positioned the salary to reflect both your seniority and the independence you'll need to challenge senior leaders professionally and diplomatically when the numbers don't match the narrative.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE WORKING ON

  • Building and maintaining complete visibility across the entire revenue line: marketing pipeline, sales pipeline, churn and renewals, and capacity planning.

  • Setting and enforcing a single set of definitions and rules across marketing, sales and customer success, then making them stick.

  • Owning HubSpot end-to-end: permissions, day-to-day usage, workflow build, automations and the processes that keep data clean at source.

  • Producing forecasts, headcount plans and reporting that the leadership team can actually rely on.

  • Contributing to the design of commission plans and commercial structures.

  • Supporting the hiring and onboarding of a Sales Operations person, and training them to maintain what you've built.

  • Presenting to the board, with numbers that are clean, consistent and defensible.

  • Using AI to solve problems that would otherwise drown you in manual work.

  • Joining up the revenue line with the wider business (think product, finance, and marketing) so everybody's working from the same playbook.

WHY YOU SHOULD (AND SHOULDN'T) APPLY

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:

  • You've owned reporting across a full commercial funnel (not just the sales pipeline). You can point to a forecast you owned, a commission plan you shaped and workflows you built yourself.

  • HubSpot is second nature to you. You operate at expert or power-user level and you can configure permissions, automations and processes without breaking into a sweat.

  • You've worked in multi-product SaaS at a senior level and you understand how different product lines affect pipeline, ARR and churn.

  • AI is already woven into how you work. You can give concrete examples of which tools you use, what you've built with them, and how they've changed your process significantly.

  • You can challenge senior leaders diplomatically but firmly, and you're not afraid to report the numbers as they actually are, not as people hope they'll be.

  • You work best with autonomy. You're a self-starter who gets the work done yourself, not someone who needs to manage others to feel productive.

  • You'd rather build something new than inherit a legacy system, and you're excited by the chance to define how commercial operations should work.

YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T APPLY IF:

  • You've spent your career managing the sales pipeline in isolation, without visibility into marketing and customer success.

  • You'd struggle with HubSpot or you'd need somebody else to handle the tech stack. This is not negotiable, unfortunately.

  • You need variable pay to feel motivated. Commission and bonus structures feel essential to you.

  • AI feels like a threat rather than a tool. You see it as something that reduces your value, not something that multiplies what you can deliver.

  • You need a large team beneath you from day one. This role starts solo and hands-on, though you'll build a team over time.

  • You'd rather build strategy than do the work. The first six months are about delivery—designing the systems, building the reports, making it stick—not sitting in planning meetings.

A BIT ABOUT YOU

Experience

You've spent time in a revenue operations, commercial operations or similar role, with demonstrable ownership of the full commercial funnel. You've done the work yourself – like configuring HubSpot, building forecasts, and leading alignment conversations across functions. Multi-product SaaS experience is non-negotiable; B2B exposure is strongly preferred.

Tooling

HubSpot sits at the centre, and you're an expert here. Experience with other platforms, such as Salesforce or Pipedrive, is a plus (some skills transfer). You're comfortable across other tech stacks and you use AI regularly as part of your workflow. Other tools in the stack will change and you're flexible on that front.

Communication

You can present to senior audiences without losing clarity. You push back on senior leaders when the numbers don't match the narrative, and you do it diplomatically enough that they listen rather than push back harder. You explain complex commercial logic in plain language.

Research

You think operationally. You diagnose what's broken in a process, you ask tough questions about data quality, and you can identify which problems to tackle first based on commercial impact. You're curious about how the business actually works, not just the metrics.

A note on using AI in your job application

As a fast-moving and rapidly evolving tech company, we embrace the advantages of AI and encourage its use throughout our application process. However, our goal is to get to know and hire the authentic you. Your skills, experience, and values. We don’t want to hire an AI-generated version of you. We consider AI to be a valuable tool, not something that should overshadow you as an individual.

How we use AI in the hiring process
