About the role We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer to become a vital part of our team. This role is centered around improving user experiences and spearheading design projects for our offerings. You will work closely with various teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

What you'll do

  • Create and enhance user interfaces for our software products, ensuring a focus on user-centered design principles.
  • Perform user research to collect insights and validate design choices, while managing your own research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to effectively translate design concepts into functional products.
  • Use Figma to develop high-fidelity prototypes and ensure design consistency across the entire product range.
  • Incorporate AI tools into your design processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in implementing updates.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions for design challenges.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user interactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance your design skills and knowledge.
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Document design processes and decisions to maintain a clear record of design evolution and rationale.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure design alignment with brand messaging and user engagement strategies.
  • Advocate for user needs and design best practices within the organization to drive a user-centric culture.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product or UX Design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proven experience in SaaS or complex product environments, showcasing your ability to handle intricate design challenges.
  • Proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of contemporary design systems.
  • Capability to independently conduct user research and analyze the results to inform design decisions.
  • Experience in deploying minor changes directly to production environments, ensuring a smooth transition from design to implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about design challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with additional design tools such as Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies and understanding of product development cycles.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in design.
  • Background in front-end development or basic coding skills to facilitate better collaboration with developers.
  • Experience in conducting workshops or design sprints to foster team creativity and innovation.
