This is an exciting opportunity for a conscientious individual with a D1 driving licence to play a key role at the heart of Streatham and Clapham High School’s Finance and Operations team. As Transport and Compliance Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of Transport Services and promote a positive Health and Safety (H&S) culture at the school. You will coordinate H&S policies, procedures and practices, whilst also raising and maintaining awareness of H&S matters across the school. You will help maintain a safe environment for staff, students, visitors and contractors by ensuring that all periodic H&S reviews, inductions, self-assessments and risk assessments are carried out and completed. In addition to your H&S responsibilities, you will also line manage the Minibus Driver team and manage the school’s transport services, including routes, schedules and queries from parents. You will also drive minibus routes when necessary. We are looking for a skilled, efficient and dynamic individual, who holds a D1 licence and a clean driving record. You will be capable of managing and coordinating H&S regulations, requirements and processes including writing risk assessments. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, along with strong ICT skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office applications and database systems.
