Required: From 29 September 2025, Streatham & Clapham Prep School seeks to appoint a dynamic and innovative teacher to join our talented and committed team for a period of maternity cover. Whilst many subjects are specialist led, the appointed teacher will be expected to teach a range of subjects including Maths, Humanities, PSHCE, RE and DT. There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider curriculum teaching.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and be educated to degree level, with proven experience of teaching Key Stage 2, and a track record of raising expectations and standards. An interest in Maths and the ISEB curriculum would be advantageous. It is essentially important that any new colleague demonstrates enthusiasm, flexibility, a sense of fun and an ability to bring out the best in pupils.
