About the Role

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery used in the manufacture of reinforcing bar (rebar) and steel mesh products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating CNC bending and cutting machines to produce rebar and mesh to specification.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting schedules.
  • Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining production equipment.
  • Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitoring output and ensuring safe, efficient workflow.
  • Conducting basic maintenance and reporting faults as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator within metal fabrication, steel processing, or construction materials.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Mechanically minded with a strong eye for detail and quality.
  • Experience working with rebar or reinforcement mesh is highly desirable.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a team.
