Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a well-established business within the builder merchant industry. This role involves multi-drop deliveries across Tilbury, London and surrounding areas, with some manual handling required at customer sites when delivering building materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks, securing loads, and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
  • Providing excellent customer service as the face of the business
  • Multi drop deliveries to London, Essex, Kent and surrounding areas
  • Delivering building materials and manually unloading at some sites
  • Reporting any issues, delays, traffic updates to the Transport Office

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
  • CPC and Digi card
  • No more than 6 points on licence
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused

Details

  • Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours per week (flexibility required, may increase depending on operations)
  • £16.00 per hour
