A well-established SME mechanical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out projects across the City of London. Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing multiple mechanical projects, typically valued up to £2 million, reporting directly into the Construction Director. Each project will have a dedicated Supervisor on site, allowing you to focus on programme, client management, and commercial delivery. This role is ideal for a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys autonomy while still having strong support from senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Oversee multiple schemes across CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-outs
- Lead and support site Supervisors and subcontractors
- Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget, and specification
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality
- Manage procurement, variations, and commercial performance
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Report directly to the Construction Director

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
