The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading fit-out contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical packages across commercial projects, including major contracts with banks and supermarket clients. With an annual turnover of circa £200 million and projects typically up to £1 million in value, they are looking to appoint a Junior M&E Estimator to join their growing pre‑construction team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the early stages of their estimating career looking to develop within a well‑established business offering structure, support, and clear progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of mechanical and electrical estimates
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Supporting take-offs and cost planning
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Assisting with tender submissions and documentation
- Supporting value engineering exercises
- Working closely with senior estimators and the wider pre‑construction team
Requirements
- Some experience within M&E estimating or a building services environment
