Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Tipper Drivers for our client based in Leicester. This is a temporary driving position with immediate starts available, offering consistent weekday work and sociable hours. Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to cover occasional weekend shifts. Guaranteed minimum 10 hours paid per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a Class 1 tipper lorry, carrying out local collections and deliveries to and from construction or aggregate sites.
  • Completing safe and timely deliveries, following all site and road safety regulations.
  • Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly.

Requirements

  • Full LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with at least 6 months’ experience.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
  • Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Confident using technology and completing digital logs.
  • Previous tipper experience highly desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of UK road networks and local routes.
