Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled 360 Grab Operator to join a well‑established recycling company in Purfleet-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to secure stable, ongoing work with the potential to progress into a permanent position.

You will be part of a busy team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring recycling processes are carried out safely and efficiently. Alongside grab work, you will also operate a Counterbalance Forklift and run the baler machine, giving you a varied and engaging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • 360 Grab Operation: Load, move, and process a range of recyclable materials.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Driving: Transport pallets, bales, and materials across the site.
  • Baler Operation: Run and monitor the baler machine, ensuring materials are compacted to company standards.
  • Carry out daily equipment checks, reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure site targets and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Valid 360 Excavator ticket with Grab attachment experience.
  • Counterbalance Forklift licence in date.
  • Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or a similar heavy plant environment preferred.
  • Strong health & safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.
  • Reliability, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work.
