Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join their expanding operation in West Thurrock.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within the warehouse and logistics industry.

Full training will be provided, so previous warehouse experience isn't essential – we're looking for motivated individuals with a great attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.

  • 8:00am – 5:00pm 40 hours per week (including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)

About the Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the operation, ensuring orders are processed accurately and goods are handled safely from arrival through to dispatch.

This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Duties
  • Unloading incoming containers by hand and using pump trucks where required.
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for distribution.
  • Wrapping, labelling, stacking and moving palletised goods.
  • Replenishing stock and assisting with warehouse organisation.
  • Supporting the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe through general housekeeping tasks.
  • Working from order sheets and packing instructions to ensure accuracy.
  • Handling products carefully to prevent damage.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

About You

  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift.
  • Able to follow written instructions and work accurately.
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual with a team-focused approach.
  • Good eye for detail and pride in completing tasks correctly.
  • Flexible to work additional hours when required to support business needs.
  • Keen to learn and develop within a warehouse environment.
