Streamline Recruitment are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy logistics operation based in Thurrock. This is a permanent role with an immediate start available.
You’ll be planning nationwide groupage and multidrop routes, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring compliance with driver hours and fleet management requirements. It’s a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, so you’ll need to be confident making decisions and finding solutions on the go.
The role will include:
- Creating efficient transport plans to meet delivery schedules.
- Monitoring and adjusting plans to deal with changes or challenges.
- Working closely with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Using planning software to optimise routes and vehicle use.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in Groupage work is essential.
- Knowledge of fleet management and driver hours regulations.
- Flexible to work shifts.
