Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a fantastic client based in Sunbury-On-Thames for a Team Manager to oversee end-to-end daily warehouse operations. The role involves leading and motivating a team, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the warehouse. The successful candidate will ensure customer contractual obligations are met, maintain compliance with Health & Safety and legislative requirements, and contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, ensuring KPIs and operational objectives are met.
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, vehicle loading/unloading, and inventory management.
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, HR, and legislative requirements across the site.
  • Develop, implement, and improve (SOPs) and operational processes.
  • Manage budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost control measures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement “lean” initiatives to drive efficiency.
  • Liaise with management to set clear goals and objectives, supporting site and business growth.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, ensuring high levels of productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the site in gaining and maintaining external compliance and accreditation standards where applicable.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing warehouse/logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of relevant transport legislation and 3PL multi-user depot operations.
  • Budget management and cost control experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Advanced PC literacy (Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems).
  • Health & Safety certification and solid HR knowledge.

Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00 (with flexibility and to support team out of hours). 25 days holiday + bank holidays. If you are interested in discussing further please apply today.
