Streamline are currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Forklift operator to join our client in Sunbury. You will play a key part in receiving and securely storing items, along with picking and dispatching outbound goods. This will be working not only in an Ambient environment, but also Chilled and Freezer departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Following health and safety procedures
- Completing paperwork accurately
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
If you have strong numeracy and literacy skills and a willingness to engage in further development and training, we would love to hear from you. Prior forklift training and the successful completion of an internal assessment are required. Expired or in-house licenses will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Rota: Monday β Friday (Flexibility on hours required, shifts can be either a 09:00-18:00 pattern or 08:00-17:00)
Payrate: Between Β£12.93 per hour PAYE.
Duties:
- Follow Health and Safety procedures on site
- Complete all paperwork to a high standard ensuring pick-once procedures
- Packing / Unpacking
- Dispatching items
- General Warehouse Duties
- Raise any quality issues, including hygiene and damage to management on site
- Completion of quality control checks
- Ability to work in Chilled / Freezer environments
- Manual Handling
- Operating MHE
Requirements:
- The ability to safely operate MHE, such as Counterbalance Forklift, PPT, LLOP, Reach truck, etc.
- PC literate
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within logistics
- Ability to follow safety requirements at all times
- Ability to hit key targets such as pick rates and accuracy
- Good level of Math and English
- Understanding of why PPE must be worn at all times
- Follow site requirements for PPE
Qualifications required:
- You will require a copy of your previous forklift training (Expired/in-house licenses will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Minimum of 1 year experience on the Forklift
