Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Traffic Administrator who has experience working within the container haulage sector, for a fantastic client of ours based in Stanford-le-Hope. This is a busy, operational role supporting the traffic team, with a strong focus on container booking, liaising with drivers and customers, managing paperwork and updating systems.

Duties:

  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure bookings and job details are accurately allocated on VBS
  • Using TRUCKCOM to manage and update container movements
  • Receiving and issuing PIN numbers for container releases
  • Handling customer enquiries and providing updates on ETAs, delays and changes
  • Collating and checking paperwork for completed jobs
  • Participating in daily booking and administration activities, including managing emails and phone calls
  • Liaising effectively between the administration team, customers and internal departments
  • Applying knowledge of container sizes and specifications to ensure accurate bookings

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Traffic Administrator / Transport Administrator role
  • Container haulage experience is essential
  • Familiarity with VBS and TRUCKCOM systems (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Confident communicator with a customer‐focused approach

£26,000 – £30,000 (DOE)

Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00
