This is a long‑term opportunity to join the operations team as a Pallet Repair Operative, covering a mix of departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading pallets from trailers ready for inspection.
- Inspecting pallets to assess whether they meet standards or need light repairs.
- Repairing pallets using saws, drills, and other tools to fix broken pallets.
- Painting pallets to a satisfactory standard for redelivery.
- Supporting all yard departments as required, demonstrating flexibility.
- Keeping yard and work areas clean and organised.
- Meeting daily KPIs and deadlines.
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days 06:00-18:00 / 2 nights 18:00-06:00)
Pay: £12.71 per hour + overtime
