We are working with a well-established MEP contractor based in Oxford, specialising in commercial and pharmaceutical projects with values up to Β£2 million. The business has a strong reputation for quality delivery and a consistent pipeline of work, and is now seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their team on a long-term programme.
As M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of mechanical and plumbing packages, from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The role is ideal for candidates based in or around Oxford or Reading, offering stability on an 18-month programme with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full project lifecycle of mechanical and plumbing systems, including pipework installations, heating systems, cooling systems, and plumbing services.
- Oversee project planning, procurement, and programme management.
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal design teams.
- Maintain health & safety and quality compliance across all works.
- Monitor costs, variations, and reporting throughout the project.
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager with strong plumbing exposure.
- Strong background in commercial and/or pharmaceutical projects.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of mechanical and plumbing packages.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to commit to an 18-month programme.
- Based within a commutable distance of Oxford / Reading.
