Yard FLT Driver / operative required for a Purfleet based logistics company. Hours of work are Sunday to Friday 22:00 - 06:00. However, for the first six to eight weeks you may need to complete training on their day shift which can either be 06:00 - 15:00 or 13:00 - 22:00. This is a permanent role following a successful trial period with the agency which lasts between 3 - 4 weeks. As the trial period will be taking place on the day shift while you’re with us, you’ll be paid the day rate. Full-time Salary: £28,000 + £4,000 night allowance.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading both using MHE and by hand.
- Keeping yard clean and tidy.
- Traffic management.
- General yard duties as requested.
Eligibility:
Ideal candidates will have a valid FLT licence; newly passed may be considered based on a forklift assessment.
