Electrical Supervisor Location: Maidstone, Kent Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum Benefits: Competitive benefits package The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major construction and infrastructure project based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards and within agreed programmes. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team, subcontractors and electrical teams to ensure the smooth delivery of works from installation through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities * Supervising electrical installation works on a major construction project. * Managing and coordinating electrical teams and subcontractors on site. * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements. * Monitoring progress and ensuring key deadlines and handovers are achieved. * Maintaining high standards of health and safety across all electrical works. * Conducting toolbox talks and providing clear guidance and instruction to site teams. * Liaising with the main contractor and other trades to coordinate works and resolve issues. * Reviewing drawings and identifying potential problems before and during installation. * Ensuring materials, labour and resources are available when required. * Monitoring quality of installation and ensuring works are completed to the required standard. * Attending site meetings and providing updates on progress, issues and solutions. * Assisting with testing, commissioning and handover activities. * Ensuring all relevant site documentation and paperwork is completed accurately. About You The ideal candidate will have strong electrical construction experience and previous experience supervising electrical teams on commercial, infrastructure or similarly complex projects. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead teams, coordinate with other trades and contractors, and resolve problems effectively. A strong understanding of electrical installation, health and safety requirements, drawings and construction programmes is essential. Requirements * Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar senior electrical site role. * Strong electrical installation background. * Experience supervising and coordinating electrical teams. * Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications. * Strong health and safety awareness. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities. * SMSTS or relevant site management qualification. * Relevant electrical qualifications/cards. * ECS certification. * IPAF would be advantageous.
