A well-established and growing MEP contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Contracts Manager with a strong background in the data centre sector. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a developing data centre division, reporting directly into the Director, with a clear and structured pathway towards Directorship. The business is offering the chance to play a key strategic role in shaping and scaling a high-growth division, backed by a strong pipeline of secured work.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and commercial performance of multiple data centre projects, ensuring successful execution from pre-construction through to completion. This role combines operational leadership, commercial oversight, and client management, with a strong emphasis on driving growth within the data centre sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage M&E delivery across data centre projects
- Oversee project teams, site managers, and subcontractors
- Take responsibility for commercial performance and contract management
- Report directly into the Director and support divisional growth strategy
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Drive procurement, variations, and cost control
- Support development and expansion of the data centre division
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager / M&E Contracts Manager
- Strong background delivering data centre projects (essential)
- Excellent commercial awareness and contract management capability
- Experience managing multiple projects and senior site teams
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
- Ambition to progress into senior leadership / directorship
