Our client is a growing logistics business looking to recruit an Inside Sales Trainee to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a school or college leaver who enjoys communicating with people and wants to build a career within sales and logistics. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal first step into the industry.
The Role
- Understanding the shipping and logistics industry
- Using operating and quotation systems
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
- Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks
About You
- Is confident using Microsoft Outlook, including emails and attachments
- Has a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has an excellent telephone manner
- Is organised and able to multitask effectively
- Has good attendance and timekeeping
- Is keen to learn and develop a long‑term career within logistics and sales
