HGV Maintenance Fitter

Streamline are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Maintenance Fitter to join our client’s team in Felixstowe. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large fleet of HGVs and trailers in a well-equipped, modern facility. Role & Responsibilities: * Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and trailers * Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults * Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with DVSA regulations * Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles meet legal and operational standards * Work to planned maintenance schedules to minimise downtime * Maintain accurate records of work carried out * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations Requirements: * Proven experience in HGV maintenance and repair * Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults * CE licence is advantageous but not required * Strong understanding of DVSA regulations and safety standards Offer: * Salary: £40,000 – £56,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications / can be discussed) * Full-time, permanent position with job stability * 12-hour shifts, 5 days a week, 1 day will be across the weekend. * Tools provided if required If you are interested in having a confidential chat, please apply today
