Streamline Recruitment is searching for an HGV1 (CE) driver to cover SHUNTING work on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.
General details & requirements:
- Shifts will start at 23:00 and finish at 08:00 & there is potential for overtime.
- Shifts will be Monday to Friday.
- Drivers will be using a TUG vehicle, so previous TUG experience is beneficial but training can be provided if required.
- Drivers will be shunting both trailers and boxes – again full training will be provided.
- You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
- You will be required to pass an assessment.
- We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.
Candidates must have the following documents:
- UK CE licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
- UK Digital tachograph card.
- UK CPC card.
Payment information:
- Please note this position is PAYE only:
- Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £20.17
- Overtime after 8 hours - £23.88
- 6th Day - £28.65
- Night Shift allowance - extra £11.04 per shift
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed.
- Breaks will not be deducted from any shunting shifts.
- Weekly payments every Friday.
