Streamline Services are currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance) to join our client in Grays, a leading drinks logistics company. This is a temp-to-perm position, with the opportunity to join the company directly after 13 weeks, subject to good performance and attendance. The role will involve working in an outdoor yard environment, handling both empty bottles and finished products, including alcohol.
Responsibilities
- Safely loading and unloading lorries for deliveries and arrivals
- Putting stock away into allocated warehouse and yard locations
- Picking and moving pallets for outbound orders
- Supporting stock control and assisting with inventory checks
- Labelling, scanning, and completing relevant paperwork
- General warehouse and yard work, including housekeeping and tidying to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (expired or in-house licences may be considered)
- Previous warehouse or yard experience is preferred
- Experience using a double pallet attachment / double handler is desirable
