One of the UK's leading fit-out contractors, with a turnover exceeding £100 million, is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its dedicated MEP division. Role Overview
The successful candidate will take ownership of electrical packages from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. This role requires a technically strong and commercially aware Project Manager who is comfortable managing client relationships, leading project teams, and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical packages across CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects.
- Oversee project delivery from pre‑construction through to handover.
- Review and manage technical submittals (Tech Subs) and design coordination activities.
- Lead site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key project contact.
- Manage project budgets, variations, procurement, and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with programme, quality, and health & safety requirements.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial fit‑out projects.
- Strong background delivering CAT A and CAT B schemes.
- Experience managing technical submittals and design coordination.
- Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
- Experience leading project teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities within a fast‑paced environment.
