Company Overview

We are working with a well-established contractor who specialise within the residential sector, delivering high-quality MEP installations on high-end developments across London. They have an upcoming residential scheme in St John's Wood, and due to project progression, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical delivery on site.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the electrical works across both shell & core and fit‑out phases, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, maintain quality standards, and support the wider project team in delivering the MEP package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day electrical installation activities on a residential scheme.
  • Manage subcontractors and labour on site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  • Coordinate electrical works across shell & core and fit‑out stages.
  • Work closely with the Mechanical Site Manager and wider project team.
  • Ensure works meet design specifications, quality standards, and programme targets.
  • Conduct site inspections, snagging and ensure H&S compliance at all times.
  • Attend site meetings and report progress to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of shell & core and fit‑out electrical packages.
  • Ability to manage site labour, subcontractors, and coordinate with MEP teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • ECS / SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications preferred.
  • Must be able to start mid‑December.
