We are working with a well‑established Electrical Contractor specialising in commercial CAT A/B design & build projects across Central London. With a business turnover of approximately £20 million, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality electrical installations across the commercial sector. Due to sustained growth and several new project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple commercial fit‑out projects simultaneously, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong technical understanding of electrical systems and proven experience managing design & build projects within London's commercial market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple CAT A/B commercial fit‑out projects concurrently.
- Oversee project planning, design coordination, procurement, and on‑site delivery.
- Manage budgets, programmes, and ensure projects are completed on time and within cost.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Supervise project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Prepare progress reports and attend regular project meetings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the commercial fit‑out sector.
- Strong background in CAT A/B design & build projects (essential).
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commercially aware with good understanding of project financials.
- Relevant electrical or building services qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
