Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Product Development Assistant based in Brentwood. This role involves managing and coordinating the flow of product samples between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack and dispatch product samples to suppliers
- Process and pick sample items from the warehouse according to instructions
- Create and manage commercial invoices, ensuring documentation is accurate
- Record and monitor incoming sample deliveries, keeping logs up to date
- Organise and maintain the sample storage area in a structured, date-ordered system
- Liaise with suppliers regarding sample updates and address queries
- Manage product returns, including handling quality issues and faults
- Diagnose product faults and work with internal teams to resolve issues
- Support part conversion processes as needed
- Act as a point of contact between internal teams to resolve product-related matters efficiently
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of automotive parts is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
