Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer of specialist sterilisation solutions, serving a variety of professional, research, and clinical sectors worldwide. We are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Foreman. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a hands-on leadership role within the workshop, ensuring the efficient build, repair, refurbishment, and preparation of equipment.
Package:
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
- Early finish Fridays
- Working hours Monday - Thursday 8am till 5pm and Fridays 8 am till 1pm
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, repair, refurbishment, and testing of equipment
- Supervise and support workshop engineers on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on guidance and technical support
- Support the Production Manager with workload prioritisation, coordination, and planning of upcoming projects
- Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations
