Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

A privately owned furniture manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join their team, with the opportunity to progress into a lead role. The company specialises in delivering exceptional bespoke, high-quality freestanding and fitted furniture to a diverse client base. Their portfolio includes heritage and conservation organisations, high-end residential projects, and collaborations with interior designers, architects, and construction companies. Projects range from individual bespoke pieces to large-scale architectural installations, spanning both contemporary and traditional styles.

This is a key role within the workshop, supporting CNC operations while contributing to workflow improvements and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, prepare, and optimise CAM programmes for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machinery
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, materials, and machining strategies to maximise efficiency and quality
  • Support the planning and coordination of CNC activities alongside production teams
  • Assist estimating and project teams with CNC-related input on costs and production considerations
  • Prepare accurate works orders, drawings, and documentation
