Our client is a well-established and growing medical technology manufacturer based in Maidenhead, developing clinician-led solutions used within regulated healthcare environments. The business operates a combined warehouse and production / assembly facility on a single floor and works to ISO9001 quality standards.
The Role
This is a practical, shop-floor based role for someone who has worked within a medical or regulated manufacturing environment and understands the importance of quality, traceability and process discipline. The Warehouse & Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and production activity while remaining fully hands-on - supporting assembly, goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch as required. You will play a key role in maintaining ISO9001 processes, documentation and compliance, while ensuring the operation runs smoothly across the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support daily warehouse and production / assembly activities
- Work hands-on across the floor, assisting with assembly, goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with ISO9001 and medical manufacturing standards
- Maintain accurate stock control, batch traceability and documentation
- Oversee preparation, assembly and packaging of medical equipment for dispatch
- Ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries are accurate, compliant and on time
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and workflow
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support internal and external audits and compliance checks
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth operations
- Identify and implement practical improvements to processes and efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a warehouse / production role within medical, pharmaceutical, electronics or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 quality management systems
- Experience supporting or working within audited manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of quality, compliance and traceability requirements
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, shop-floor supervisory role
- Experience with stock control, goods-in/out and dispatch
- Competent using basic systems (WMS, Excel, MS Office)
- Reliable, organised and detail-focused with a proactive attitude
