Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (35 hours per week), with flexibility depending on site location

Our client is a growing specialist contractor operating within the renewable energy sector, delivering high-quality Solar PV solutions across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Trainee Solar Installer to join their installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous construction site experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within the renewable energy industry. Full training will be provided.
Position Overview:
- Assist experienced Solar PV installers and electricians with installations across residential and commercial sites.
- Assist with the installation of mounting systems, racking and solar panels.
- Prepare, load and transport tools, equipment and materials to site.
- Operate hand and power tools following appropriate training.
- Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas.
- Follow all company and site health and safety procedures.
- Carry out basic measurements and calculations under supervision.
- Work as part of a team while developing practical Solar PV installation skills.
