Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving company growth by identifying prospects, generating leads, and securing new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across international freight markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and new clients
- Focus on developing trade lanes, particularly between the USA and the UK
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing and onboarding new accounts
- Self-generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and market research
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales activity and revenue targets
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain is highly desirable
