Job Title: Transport Supervisor
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00-18:00
Location: Southampton
A well-established transport and logistics business is looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their operation.
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the transport operation, working closely with drivers, planners and the wider team to keep everything running smoothly.
The Role - Transport Supervisor
- Overseeing the daily transport operation
- Supervising and supporting a team of drivers
- Allocating work and ensuring deliveries are completed on time
- Dealing with any issues that arise throughout the day
- Supporting transport planning and driver coordination
- Monitoring vehicle movements and operational performance
- Ensuring company procedures and compliance standards are followed
- Working closely with customers and internal teams
We Are Looking For - Transport Supervisor
- Previous experience within transport or logistics
- Good understanding of general haulage or pallet network operations
- Experience supervising drivers or a transport team
- Confident dealing with drivers, customers and operational issues
- Organised, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Transport qualifications or CPC knowledge would be beneficial
