Job title: Freight Forwarding Coordinator Salary: £32,000-£38,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Location: Slough We are working with a established freight forwarding business that is looking to add two experienced members to its team. The roles will cover a variety of freight operations, including airfreight, seafreight, road freight and courier services. As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of the operation while supporting colleagues when required. The business is looking for candidates with previous freight forwarding experience, ideally with exposure to one or more of these areas. The role - Freight Forwarding Coordinator: Managing day-to-day freight operations Handling air, sea, road and courier freight Coordinating shipments from booking through to delivery Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers Preparing and managing relevant freight documentation Supporting colleagues across different areas of the operation Providing a high level of customer service The ideal candidate - Freight Forwarding Coordinator: Previous experience within freight forwarding is essential Experience across airfreight, seafreight, road freight or courier freight Good understanding of freight operations and processes Organised with strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Location: Office based Salary: £32,000-£38,000 depending on experience Up to 28 Days (including bank holidays) Streamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
