We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to support the estimating team in the preparation of accurate and timely costings. This role involves working closely with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery and commercially sound decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Administration
- Create and maintain documentation to support the production of costing and estimating information.
- Ensure a well-organised and efficient administrative process that supports company objectives.
- Enquiry Management
- Review and assess incoming enquiries.
- Gather sufficient information to support the Estimating Manager in identifying risks, concerns, and opportunities.
- Help prioritise projects with the highest potential success and suitability.
- Supply Chain
- Develop and maintain relationships with specialist suppliers.
- Support sourcing activities to ensure customer requirements can be met effectively.
- Contracts
- Develop understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Identify potential risks or onerous conditions within contract documentation.
- Support the protection of company interests through awareness of contractual obligations.
- Client Interface
- Assist in client meetings where required.
- Support the presentation and explanation of costings, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure clarity and accuracy in all client communications.
