Site Manager - Civils Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 depending on experience Benefits: Up to 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + birthday off, profit share scheme, salary sacrifice pension, death in service, cycle to work scheme & company events Our client is a well-established construction business delivering civil engineering and construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Site Manager to join their Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects on site, coordinating teams and subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in line with client requirements. Site Manager - Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and construction projects. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials to ensure projects remain on programme. Liaise with clients, Quantity Surveyors, Construction Directors and other project stakeholders. Review drawings, designs and technical information, ensuring works are completed to specification. Carry out site inspections and ensure high standards of health, safety and quality are maintained. Ensure RAMS and company QEMS procedures are implemented and followed. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement practical solutions. Maintain accurate site reports, records and project documentation. Manage and minimise project risks, ensuring construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Contribute to continuous improvement across construction processes and working practices.Site Manager - Position Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager within the construction or civil engineering sector. SMSTS qualification. Valid CSCS Managers and Professionals Card. First Aid qualification. Strong understanding of construction methods, site management and health and safety requirements. Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and construction activities. Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical information. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently, use initiative and work to strict deadlines.
