Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Civils Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, overseeing site operations, managing teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget. Civils Project Manager - Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. Lead and manage site teams, labour and subcontractors to achieve programme, cost and quality objectives. Work closely with the Civils Construction Manager and wider project team to ensure successful project delivery. Take responsibility for health and safety compliance across site, ensuring company procedures and relevant legislation are followed. Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Monitor progress against the project programme and identify potential delays, disruption and resource requirements. Coordinate labour, plant and material requirements to meet project and programme requirements. Liaise with procurement and commercial teams to ensure materials and plant are available when required. Monitor the quality of workmanship and subcontractor performance, addressing any issues where necessary. Ensure site documentation, records, instructions and reports are completed accurately and submitted within required timescales. Prepare and present progress reports at site and project meetings. Work closely with construction, commercial and design teams to resolve issues and minimise delays. Monitor and report on project progress, costs and resource requirements. Manage snagging, defects and completion activities through to successful handover. Attend weekly production and management meetings to review progress, labour, plant and upcoming project requirements. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of construction processes and best practice.Civils Project Manager - Position Requirements Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the civil engineering or construction industry. Relevant professional construction qualification. Valid SMSTS certification. Valid CSCS Managers or Professional Card. First Aid qualification. Strong understanding of civils, construction methods and site management processes. Proven experience leading site teams, labour and subcontractors. Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements, including RAMS and safe working practices. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Experience working to project programmes and managing labour, plant and resources. IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Asta Powerproject experience would be advantageous. Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
