Our client is a well-established industrial packaging manufacturer, specialising in bespoke packaging solutions for customers across a range of industries. We are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of transport, production, and customer service operations. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

Package:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (early finish on Fridays when workload allows)
  • £30,000 per annum
  • 5% annual performance bonus
  • Christmas bonus
  • Private medical insurance after 12 months
  • Company pension

Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily transport routes and coordinate collections
  • Liaise with production, customers, drivers, and third-party hauliers
  • Process transport documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Manage driver hours, vehicle checks, and fleet administration
  • Monitor customer KPIs and provide regular reports
  • Organise product transfers between sites
  • Support accounts with month-end administration when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' B2B customer service experience
  • Previous experience within transport, logistics, or production coordination is mandatory
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills (Sage experience desirable)
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
