We are working with a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Whitstable who are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled bodyshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to a high-quality repairer with strong structural and jig experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of panel beating, from light to heavy accident damage
  • Undertake structural repairs, including chassis alignment and jig work
  • Perform bonding, welding, and riveting to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Strip and refit vehicle panels and components as required
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Work efficiently to meet job deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair/bodyshop environment
  • Confident working on all panels and structural repairs
  • Strong jig alignment experience
  • Competent in bonding, welding, and riveting techniques
  • Ability to work on modern vehicles and mixed manufacturer repair methods
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
  • ATA / NVQ qualifications desirable but not essential (experience is key)
