Construction Superintendent required to join a leading healthcare and senior-living construction specialist operating across the United States. The successful candidate will coordinate daily on-site activities, manage subcontractors, maintain safety compliance, and ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with contract documents. This role suits a hands-on construction professional with experience in commercial, healthcare, senior-living, or related environments, capable of reading blueprints, managing schedules, and overseeing multiple active job sites.

Compensation

  • $65,000 per year DOE

  • Field-based role with regional travel to project sites

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring subcontractors complete work safely and to specification.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and subcontract agreements to confirm work aligns with contract documents.
  • Maintain detailed daily logs and prepare weekly progress reports.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings to keep schedules and deliverables on track.
  • Create, update, and manage project schedules.
  • Participate in job walks with the Project Manager, Owner, and Architect/Engineer teams.
  • Support the Project Manager with budgets, contracts, document control, and overall project coordination.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Identify and troubleshoot on-site challenges using available resources.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant jobsite in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate multiple active projects to ensure consistent quality and productivity.

Position Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills for email updates, daily logs, and weekly reports.
  • Ability to manage a fully digital, paperless jobsite using laptops, tablets, and cloud-based systems.
  • Proficiency with construction software including Bluebeam, MS Excel, and Procore.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to three hours to project sites.
