Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (42 hours per week, 30-minute lunch break)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee compliance, training, and audit processes across our five accident repair workshop sites. This is a key role ensuring all sites operate to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The position will take over from our long-standing Compliance Manager, who is due to retire in March 2026, allowing a comprehensive handover and training period.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date compliance across all workshop operations, ensuring all staff qualifications, accreditations, and calibrations are current and renewed on time.
- Manage training schedules and coordinate with our chosen qualification and training provider for consistency across all sites.
- Oversee compliance for manufacturer approvals and prepare for BSI and manufacturer audits.
- Manage and monitor compliance relating to the company's O-Licence and fleet of 9 trucks, ensuring all operator and vehicle requirements are met.
- Conduct regular internal audits to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Ensure accurate record keeping for all compliance, audit, and certification documentation.
- Provide reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance, upcoming renewals, and audit outcomes.
- Support Site Managers in implementing corrective actions and maintaining ongoing compliance improvements.
About You
- Proven experience in a compliance, quality, or audit role within the accident repair, bodyshop, or motor vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of BSI standards, manufacturer approval requirements, and training/accreditation processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage compliance across multiple sites (approx. 15 staff per site).
- Knowledge of O-Licence compliance and vehicle operations desirable.
- Confident communicator able to liaise with all levels of staff and external auditors.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
