Our client, a well-established construction, interiors, and fit-out company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team and take full commercial responsibility for fast-track retail and leisure fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account settlement. This is a turnkey commercial role suited to a commercially astute professional capable of managing the full financial lifecycle of projects while working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced fit-out environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing projects commercially from estimating and tender stage through to final account agreement
  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating subcontract packages and procurement schedules
  • Full subcontractor procurement and commercial management
  • Cost planning, forecasting, valuations and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity
  • Managing variations, change control and contractual matters
  • Working collaboratively with project delivery teams to ensure commercial and operational success
  • Producing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining margin performance
  • Taking full financial control and ownership of multiple fit-out projects
