My client is a family run general haulage business, priding themselves on the service they provide to customers and placing an enormous amount of emphasis on working as a team, drivers, and office staff alike. They are now looking for someone to join the transport team, assisting with the planning and routing of the vehicles. We are focused on finding the right person with the right attitude and personality.
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
- Eager to develop technical and professional skills within transport planning
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and development
- Assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
- Analysing traffic and transport data
- Supporting junction modelling and transport forecasting work
- Helping prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations
- Conducting site visits and transport surveys
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams
- Supporting senior planners on a variety of projects
