Location: Sidcup, Kent

Company: Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer of specialist sterilisation solutions, serving a variety of professional, research, and clinical sectors worldwide.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Package:

  • Salary £28,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Early finish Fridays

Working hours:

  • Monday – Thursday 8am to 5pm
  • Fridays 8am to 1pm

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements
  • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activities
  • Carry out quality inspections and checks
  • Coordinate effectively with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineer or qualified to HNC/HND
  • Strong experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly and build environments, including pipework assembly, brazing, and soldering
  • The successful candidate will be required to supply their own standard hand tools for routine daily work. Specialist tools and equipment (e.g. grinders, pipe benders, etc.) will be supplied by the company for shared use.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong commitment to health & safety and safe working practice
